The PLF is delighted to welcome you to the 2026 Defense Panel Conference in Eugene at the Graduate by Hilton, August 19 to August 21, 2026. This website provides information about our program schedule, speakers, accommodations, and recreational activities. Please take some time to explore.

Defense Panel Member Only


Use this form to register a Defense Panel member only. The cost is $650 per attendee.

Defense Panel Member + Guest

Use this form to register a Defense Panel member, plus one guest. The cost is $800 and includes conference registration for the Defense Panel member, plus a guest for the Wednesday and Thursday evening dinners.

Defense Panel Member + Family

Use this form to register a Defense Panel member and family. The cost is $850 and includes conference registration for the Defense Panel member, plus family guests for the Wednesday dinner and one adult guest for the Thursday dinner. If you sign a child/children up for the Thursday night child activity, dinner will be included.

Register for Golf Tournament


A new twist on a PLF classic. Join us at the Topgolf Swing Suite at the Graduate for this year's golf tournament. Use this form if you have previously registered for the conference and would like to add a registration for Thursday's golf tournament.

Register for Rooftop Yoga

Join local yogi, Ellen, for Friday morning yoga (5:45-6:45 a.m.) on the 12th floor rooftop patio. Registration is limited to 40 participants.

Conference Lodging

The PLF has a block of rooms reserved at the Graduate by Hilton for conference attendees at a discounted rate ($189+ taxes and fees for a Graduate King or Graduate Queen Double; $75 pet fee subject to availability; self-parking is $22/day, and valet parking is $29/day). You can make online lodging reservations via the following link: PLF 2026 Graduate by Hilton Reservations. Lodging is limited; the deadline to reserve accommodations with the discount is July 24* (the room block will be released to the public on July 25). The reservation link will allow reservations for Wednesday (Aug. 19) through Friday (Aug. 21).

*Deadline: The cut-off for lodging reservations is July 24, 2026. Any reservations made after July 24 will be subject to space/rate availability.

Spencer Butte Hike


 

Golf Tournament



 



Please join the PLF’s John Berge for his first hike up Spencer Butte. The trail is short (1.7 miles) and moderately difficult. A great view is advertised at the top on a clear day. The hike is estimated to be an hour and a half, but with good weather, we may choose to spend more time at the top. The trailhead is a short car ride from the hotel. The hiking guide advises it is steep in spots; you will need sturdy shoes and be on the lookout for poison oak (if it has three leaves – let it be!). AllTrails - Spencer Butte



A new twist on a PLF classic. Join us at the Topgolf Swing Suite at the Graduate for this year's golf tournament. Topgolf is an immersive experience, with two suites, complete with comfortable chairs and sofas (perfect for relaxing and heckling your competitors).

That's ok. You are welcome to attend as much of the conference as you are able. Please note, however, that registration is for the full event only. There is no à la carte option.
